Arunachal Pradesh's first futuristic New Age Learning Centre — a paradise for book lovers, competitive aspirants, and lifelong learners nestled in the heart of Miao, Changlang district.
The Sub Divisional Library Miao — reimagined as the New Age Learning Centre (NALC) — is the brainchild of Miao Additional Deputy Commissioner Shri Sunny K. Singh. It is Arunachal Pradesh's first futuristic public library, housed in a two-storey building spanning 2,000 sq ft.
Set up at an estimated cost of ₹30 Lakh+ through a combination of community contributions and government support, the air-conditioned facility is fully equipped with tablets, computers, e-readers, virtual reality headset, and free Wi-Fi. It serves as an interactive hub for local schools and students, hosting dedicated library and reading periods at the NALC premises.
Under its CSR initiative, Oil India Limited (OIL) runs Super 30 residential classes for JEE and NEET aspirants here. The NALC also drives Project Safal — a district administration initiative to improve board exam passing percentages. It has earned recognition from the Prime Minister's Office.
